Sage South Africa is offering bursaries for the 2026 academic year.
The bursary programme supports undergraduate students in critical fields,
as well as students with disabilities pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in any field.
📌 About the Bursary Provider – Sage
Sage is a global market leader in integrated accounting, payroll, and payment systems.
The company specialises in developing software solutions for small and medium-sized businesses,
while also providing enterprise-level expertise for larger organisations.
🎓 Fields Covered
Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate degree studies in:
- Accounting and Finance (BCom)
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
Additionally, bursaries will be awarded to students with disabilities
for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies in all fields of study.
💰 Expenses Covered
The bursary covers (up to a capped amount):
- Tuition fees
- Stationery and books
- Accommodation (residence or private)
- Outstanding student debt (arrears)
✅ Eligibility Requirements
- South African citizen.
- Previously disadvantaged individual (PDI).
- Currently in Matric or completed Matric.
- Studying or intending to study towards an undergraduate qualification in 2026 (1st to final year).
- Accepted or enrolled at a recognised public tertiary institution in SA.
- Matric students: minimum 75% in Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Current university students: minimum 65% overall average.
- Students with disabilities: can study towards undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in any field.
- Total household income between R350 000 – R500 000 per annum.
(If below R350 000, NSFAS application is required. If NSFAS declined, you may apply for this bursary.) - Preference given to students with disabilities.

- Parents’ death certificates (if applicable)
- Court letter/affidavit for child support (if applicable)
- Proof of disability (medical report/note, if applicable)
