Who can apply — eligibility

  • South African citizen
  • In Matric OR completed Matric (no post‑Matric qualifications yet)
  • Studying Accounting Science (CA stream)
  • Applied to a listed university
  • Minimum Matric marks: 70% Maths (not Maths Lit); 60% English HL or 70% FAL; 70% other subjects
  • Commitment to join OMCAT and work at Old Mutual after graduation

Preference is given to disadvantaged students, under‑represented groups and candidates with disabilities.

Selection timeline

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 30 November 2025 for psychometric assessments. Finalists attend a selection day and interviews. Offers confirmed with final Matric results & proof of university acceptance.
