Key Responsibilities

  • 🤝 Build Strategic Customer Relationships: Understand customer needs and buying processes to foster trust, loyalty, and long-term partnerships.
  • 💡 Deliver Tailored Cummins Solutions: Match customer priorities with the right products and clearly communicate the value proposition.
  • 📝 Negotiate and Manage Accounts Effectively: Close deals, manage receivables, and resolve payment issues to ensure financial health.
  • 🔄 Strengthen Customer Retention: Engage with customers proactively to drive repeat business and enhance satisfaction.
  • 🛠️ Leverage Tools and Processes: Apply the Cummins Sales Process and CRM tools to track progress, report activity, and optimize performance.
  • ⚖️ Balance Operational Demands: Collaborate with internal teams to align inventory, service, and delivery with customer expectations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Customer-Centric Communication: Ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable insights tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Data-Driven Forecasting: Skill in analyzing customer behavior and historical trends to produce accurate sales forecasts.
  • Pipeline and Strategy Mastery: Proactively manage your sales pipeline, adjusting tactics and coaching others to meet objectives.
  • Focused Account Planning: Set strategic goals, track progress, and align account plans with business targets to drive growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field, or equivalent sales experience.
  • Experience preparing quotes and driving sales of engine products, ideally in a customer-facing role.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
