  • Duration: 12 months

Participants will learn how to operate material-handling equipment, manage stock, maintain warehouse systems, and support logistics operations efficiently and safely.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

📦 Physical Stock Handling

  • Receive, inspect and dispatch raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
  • Verify correct stock labelling and quantities.
  • Move stock into appropriate bays using RF scanners.
  • Feed converting machines with WIP material.
  • Operate strapping machines safely.
  • Check stock against open purchase orders in ABACA.
  • Scan and capture stock in the system before end of shift.
  • Release paper reels/WIP loads for production as needed.
  • Assist with cycle counts, stock takes and report variances.
  • Conduct quality checks as per operating procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks safely.

🔒 Safety Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and clamp trucks responsibly, following the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Section 43 – Driven Machinery Regulations).

Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen
  • Unemployed and available for 12 months
  • Medically fit for physical work
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
