
City of Polokwane Bursary 2026 — The Polokwane Municipality invites eligible learners and students to apply for the 2026 External Bursary Programme. This bursary supports disadvantaged students who are permanent residents of Polokwane and studying towards approved qualifications at recognised institutions.
Who Can Apply?
- Grade 12 learners or applicants who have already passed Grade 12
- Students enrolled at an accredited institution of higher learning
- Studying towards a First Degree, National Diploma, or National N Diploma
- Permanent residents of Polokwane Municipality
- Applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds
- South African citizens
- Not currently benefiting from any bursary scheme
Successful applicants will be required to sign a Bursary Agreement with the Municipality.
