AfriSam South Africa is offering limited bursaries for the 2026 academic year.
These bursaries are aimed at supporting hardworking students in engineering,
with a special focus on empowering historically disadvantaged and female students.

AfriSam South Africa (Pty) Ltd was established in 1934 and has since grown into one of the country’s leading suppliers of construction materials.
The company manufactures and delivers products such as cement, readymix, plaster, and aggregate.
With operations across six Southern African countries, AfriSam continues to play a key role in infrastructure development.

🎓 Fields Covered

For 2026, AfriSam (Roodepoort Plant) will award 2 bursaries for:

• BSc Electrical Engineering
• BEng Electrical Engineering

✅ Eligibility Requirements

• Must be studying full-time towards a BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be in your 3rd or 4th year of study.
• Must be enrolled at an accredited university in South Africa.
• Minimum overall average of 60%.
• Good behavioural and ethical standards.
• Preference will be given to HDSA (Historically Disadvantaged South African) students and female students.
