Expenses Covered
The SAADP bursary is a comprehensive package that includes:

Eligibility Requirements for South African Actuarial Development Programme Bursary 2027
To be considered for the SAADP Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be currently in Grade 12 or a first-year, second-year, or third-year university student
- Achieve at least 80% in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
- Achieve at least 80% in English and 80% in Physical Science (Physics may not be required at some institutions)
- Demonstrate strong and consistent academic performance
- Demonstrate a strong financial need
- Intend to pursue an Actuarial Science degree at a SAADP partner university: University of Cape Town (UCT), University of Pretoria (UP), or University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)
Note: Students from non-partner universities are welcome to apply, however, they must have applied and been accepted to study at any partner university.

- Current Actuarial Science students must be registered at WITS, UCT, or UP in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Honours levels
- Non-South Africans are unfortunately not eligible to apply
