SAFRIPOL Community Bursary Scheme 2026 🎓 — Safripol is inviting matriculants completing Grade 12 in 2025, as well as current tertiary students, to apply for the 2026 Community Bursary Scheme. This bursary aims to support academically deserving students from local communities who wish to pursue engineering-related qualifications.

Fields of Study Covered
Preference will be given to students pursuing or intending to pursue qualifications in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
The bursary is aimed at supporting studies at accredited tertiary institutions in South Africa.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be completing Matric in 2025 or currently studying at a tertiary institution
- Must intend to study or continue tertiary studies in 2026
- Must reside in the Wentworth, Jacobs or Bluff areas (proof of residence required)
- Must have proof of enrolment or provisional acceptance at an accredited tertiary institution for 2026
- Selection is based on APS score, academic performance and field of study
Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee funding. Final bursary awards are made at the discretion of the Safripol Bursary Committee.
