Participants will learn how to operate material-handling equipment, manage stock, maintain warehouse systems, and support logistics operations efficiently and safely.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
📦 Physical Stock Handling
- Receive, inspect and dispatch raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
- Verify correct stock labelling and quantities.
- Move stock into appropriate bays using RF scanners.
- Feed converting machines with WIP material.
- Operate strapping machines safely.
- Check stock against open purchase orders in ABACA.
- Scan and capture stock in the system before end of shift.
- Release paper reels/WIP loads for production as needed.
- Assist with cycle counts, stock takes and report variances.
- Conduct quality checks as per operating procedures.
- Load and unload trucks safely.
🔒 Safety Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and clamp trucks responsibly, following the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Section 43 – Driven Machinery Regulations).
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Unemployed and available for 12 months
- Medically fit for physical work
- Able to work in a warehouse environment
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
